BACK ON THE WAGON

The logging wagon that is. Tracking everything I eat is the hardest thing for me. I love running, biking, and Pilates. I have a hard time carving out the time though, and that's what the food logging is too. I don't want to take a couple minutes to do it. But it's a must and I'm back on it along with y'all.

Anyways, in spite of my not consistently logging, the weight is going down. I was 130.0 exactly on Tues., so at least 1 lb. this week (Mon. 11/3 weigh in was 131.0) , and yesterday I bought a 27 (size 6) pair of Seven jeans, which are cut a little narrow anyways. They're a bit snug and I like a little more room, so it's about a week until I'll wear them, but happy to have a size 6 in my closet, and be bagging up clothes to donate. I'm especially happy that I'll be giving to the Downtown Women's Center (www.dwcweb.org) and their store, MADE (http://www.dwcweb.org/MADE/). Throwing that out there in case anyone is in the LA area and would like to donate - or shop. :)

My next goal is improving my running time. I'd like to maintain a 9:00 pace over 6 miles. Right now my pace is a 10:00-10:30 or so. The leaner I get, the better I run. I wonder if I could get to a 9:00 by March 1.

I am into size 6 also as of now at 135. My wight comes off slow. YEA!!!!! for were you are keep up and you will be there before you know it.

9 minute/mile for 6 miles - pretty strong. i wish i could do that for 3! nice. and, while a pain, the food logging is key, i think. glad you are back on the wagon. cheers.

And BTW, BLONDIE1957, you are not losing weight slowly. 15 lbs in < 1 month is quite fast.

Thanks, ChrisComedy, but not actually at goal. 135 was original goal, but then saw I could be leaner. It's amazing that I could live so long and not know my own body. I think I will be best around 120. Thanks for the yell though. I can hear it. :)

@Chris: I just thought you'd remembered my orig. goal. I didn't think it was a mistake. I think you were the first person to add me on here. Back then my goal was 135. I get it now. Adding points to the board. I like that. I've never heard that, only touchdown.

thanks for the comments I am trying to learn my way around this site. the first month I was on the atkins fast track. now I am losing at a slower pace. Again you all great.
