My son made me breakfast this morning for my birthday: a scrambled egg, toast and jam, a clementine, and a cup of tea. He's a good kid. He asked me every step of the way to make sure I could eat everything.
New test results with very bad news about my kidneys today, but I'm actually feeling a little better. I've been hungry and have had less pain and no muscle cramps. The doctors are more puzzled than ever. I will know more Tuesday when I see the nephrologist.
