Got to walk through pleasant weather this week. I've had to adjust to walking with a cane and I will have undergo surgery for arthritis in my foot. I also have plantar fasciitis in the left foot, so I often use K-tape on the foot when I'm walking. Heating pads and ice can temporarily relieve the pain as well. Although I am bummed that it will be quite a while until I can return to things like figure skating, I'm doing my best not to let that get in the way of my enjoyment of the holiday season. I was able to attend my hometown's holiday tree lighting ceremony.
