Happy Friday to all...
Accomplished so much yesterday getting the property spruced up...so nice to see the difference. My poor arms are a whole other story, wore gloves naturally, however, forearms bear testimony to my labors, totally scratched and bruised...:( Oh Well...doesn't hurt, just looks bad..:) Drained the pool, having the contractor begin work to re-finish the surface today...he says it should only take a few days, and can be re-filled next week...lots of progress here.
Another day of working outside should do it...looking forward to the new plantings...absolutely love this time of year.
Staying on track with my food intake..and at minimum keeping my carbs in check....enjoying the time with DH and being outside....no loss to record but no gain either...so I am happy about that.

Oh I would love to have a pool! When I win the lotto I will move some where with a indoor one! Lol I hate gardening but love the results when it's done! I don't have one plant in my garden yet! Lol loads of grass but no plants! Going to put that right this year! Just not sure what to plant as don't know about plants and flowers at all! Lol

I am not the one with the green thumb...love the results myself. My husband does all the plantings. Some of my favorites are the Lilies...they come back every year and so beautiful...so many varieties. He also plants small garden of tomatoes, peppers and herbs....As for the pool....not sure the work related to upkeep is worth it....I didn't want it screened....biggest mistake I ever made, as the yard has Sycamore trees...OMG, those trees wreak havoc with there leaves and droppings....Ugh.

That's why I will wait to win the lotto and have a indoor one! Then I can pay some one to do the upkeep! Lol I grew my own veg about to years ago but never got to eat any of it as the caterpillar got there first! I gave up after that! Lol I love lilies as well! My favourite flower! I think the soil here is clay so we plant things and if they stay alive yay if not we try some thing else! Lol
