I'm having a severe gout attack and at the same time I found out that I also have thickness tearing where the tendon in my right foot meets the fifth metatarsal and there's tendonosis in the tendon as well. So I'm in a huge amount of pain, I can't take NSAIDs and my tolerance for acetaminophen is waning. All of this to say, there's no way I can get on a scale this morning and exercise, other than hopping around on crutches and a knee scooter is out. The good news is that I can't not eat healthy. I have to eat tons of fruit and vegetables and only lean protein, no fat or red meat or sweets or I will pay heavily in pain over the next few days.

Let's see how I manage this diet and still feed my very picky child. I'll have to cook two separate meals for the most part, and that's tricky to manage with only one working foot and a short temper from pain.
