3.3 miles walked, 2.6 w/doggies along.

For today, NO peanuts, NO peanut butter, NO yogurt and therefore, NO Lactaid either. Gotta get rid of this bloated feeling.

The good part of this is that it made me eat up the last of the dry roasted edamame that's been hanging around, seems like forever!

Your walking is what I am soo looking forward too when it gets warm enough for me. Although I do use my treadmill, out side walking is my favorite. Good job on not eating all the above. Your doing great. Have a good evening.....Bren

Thanks Bren. I just feel like I've hit a bit of an unexpected bump in the road. TRIED to eat some really yummy stuff that's Atkins-friendly (peanuts, peanut butter, Greek yogurt w/preserves) but found out I either won't be able to eat them at all, or certainly won't be able to eat them as often as I'd like. Oh well....this IS a learning process. Bought some really nice steaks this afternoon to grill out in a couple days after marinading(Stef's journal got to me!). Enjoy your evening, as well.

It is a disappointment for those of us who have been doing this for a long time to not be able to eat those things that make us feel we are eating a normal diet. During my six month "rest" I added back in chocolate and a glass or two of wine each week and kept losing very slowly. Peanut butter is in your future- no fear!

MMMMMM, steak!! YUMMO!! We are having lamb chops. Can't wait! And yes it is a learning process...I can't eat a lot of those things either, but oh well, they don't mean as much as my health. *SIGH* At least I have found a way to be able to eat fried foods from time to time. I am not sure how I tripped accross you - but I am glad I did & when I read your bio - most of it felt very true for me also! Regarding my mom especially! Hang in there - don't give up & keep learning!!

Hi GG-girl, thanks for stopping by...however you got here! Must be the Wisconsin magnet under my skin - LOL!! Looks like we're on a very similar journey, although I've had to face a "few" more pounds.
