I was not very motivated to do any walking today, but I did it any way. I didn't want to slack on it but I knew I would feel better doing it. I don't like having the 'guilt trip' so I had to do it. A lot of times when I don't do something I go towards that and it makes me depressed. Most of my depression comes me dwelling on my weight and how I'm not putting in enough effort to lose it. If only I could stick to a plan that works....

Morgan turn your last statement around— you said “if only I could stick to a plan that works”. Instead think ANY plan will work that you stick to. If you are forcing yourself to walk 7 miles at a whack on a regular basis that can be daunting, makes you feel guilty and is not a sustainable practice if you dread it. I know you have mentioned work of some kind, not sure what it is but would you be able to squeeze in a 2-3 mile walk twice a day. Break it up however it works for you. The beauty of walking is that it doesn’t make any difference if you do it all at once or break it up and do a piece after breakfast, after dinner, whatever works for you. Just don’t quit. Make your goals realistic for you.

sounds like you are doing well Morgan. I often dont want to go to the gym but always feel better if I do. I set the bar low and usually rise above it. remember, just 30 minutes of cardio a day is good for your heart💚

YOU ROCK! It’s sucks when you don’t feel like doing it, but then when you do I feel like it’s an even bigger victory. Setting a sticking with a plan can be really hard (until July I’ve never been able to), I hope you find a way to make it work for you. I never felt amazing doing any other exercise other than swimming and it’s such a great way to get active, but in a “easier” way. I wish you the beat of luck though!

It's always a push to lose weight. Only you can decide the right amount of push. How much is productive or how much is too much. We all work with it and learn.

we all have days like that focusing on what your not doing is going to drive you crazy.try to focus on the things your doing right. and try not to let your diet/trying to loose become your identity. thats too much pressure. you are a complete person right now. you are enough right now. you are loosing weight to feel better but the rate at which you loose dose not make you better or worse. you are doing really good and the fact that you are on this app shows you have acountability. keep walking. keep tracking and i will follow you to cheer you on😊

Some days it is a challenge to get moving, but to be successful at weight loss and improved health we follow the Nike rule and Just Do It, like you did! Good job man, keep moving!

I totally agree I do not work out today I do feel myself when I want to do something I do but now I do not know. I do not if I'm lazy or giving up because I'm not consistent my work out I'm trying to get my mom in with me but it's not the same I'm by myself
