I am feeling great!

My mood/attitude has significantly increased. Both generally, & mood swings as a result of a negative stimulus.

My engery has improved.

I am having a fruit/veggie smoothie daily. Loaded with superfoods - currently using 1 tsp tumeric and 1 tsp ginger and 1 tbsp flaxseeds in addition to chick peas, beets, butternut squash, apple, and fresh ginger. Sounds weird, I konw, But, try it!

I also put 1 tsp cinnamon in my coffee. I use it and vanilla instead of sugar.

For the next couple days, I'll switch it up and have a green smoothie. Spinach, kiwi, greek yogurt, tumeric & flax seeds.


I am drinking 100+ oz of water/day (not including smoothie). Almost everynight I'm getting my 7 hours of sleep. And as you can see, I have been logging on to FatSecret daily and building a network. I have also been spending more time outdoors with dog & baby and I have been using my makeshit stand-up desk. I will share how difficult using the stand up desk is. Not because it is difficult to stand, but b/c I want to sit so badly. But I tell myself that I cannot play or doing any work on the computer unless I am standing (With the exception of when I first wake up and I am having my coffee and when I am in bed at night).


I do have once curious situation with my scale. It often changes its response after the intial reading. The seecond reading is 2-2.5lbs lighter than the first. I doesn't really makes sense. And while my husband and I believe the lower amounts are more likely accurate for us, it is disconcerting.

Currently I'm 172.4. Within the last few months, I have been as low as 171. I am super motivated to break 170 and get down into the 160's. However, in order to do so, I need to really get serious about exercise. (And by serious, I mean actually do a legitiate work out. A do workouts multiple times a week. My daily walk just doesn't count.

Upcoming challenges: weekend trip to Lisbon this weekend. weekend girls trip to Mallorca the following weekend. There will be lots of booze on the girls trip.
