Today we hiked to Lucky Lake in the central Oregon Cascade Mountains. From the lake, we had views of Broken Top and South Sister mountains. Hike was about four miles, through the woods. We were so lucky to have a break from the smoke; smoke will return tomorrow. The wildfires are over 50 miles away.
I've done well with eating, and have mostly managed to stay on track with sugar detox.
Tomorrow I am leaving for a visit to see my sisters and brother in California. I'm looking forward to it!
