is it normal on keto to gain 2lbs over night? calories were always under but had some 🍣 sushi as a treat and poof

Yes that is normal. Each gram of carbohydrates will hold 3-4 grams of water. When you stop eating carbs you pee out that water weight but as soon as you start again it will be held in your cells. One can gain as much as 5 kg after a mega carb day after strict keto eating. On another note 1200 calories is very low for a human of your size. A slower weight loss can make it more sustainable long term and help your body not become deprived, hence not clasping on to every calories as hard as it can. You will have an easier time losing the last pounds if you start higher on calories. This is from someone who dieted many times, very strict, for competitions. Enjoy the journey!
