Same as yesterday...3.3 miles walked, 2.6 w/doggies. Had to be sure to go today, as heavy rain and storms are expected for the entire day tomorrow. May have to be inside on Stairmaster tomorrow.

Weight (not recorded) is showing the effects of that peanut butter, no exercise on Saturday (maybe), and even a diet of foods that typically slow me down a bit (low carb bread/tortillas, dairy, processed meat (brats)). I also didn't get enough water in yesterday so I'm trying to remedy that situation.

Funny thing....I'm not getting too overly concerned or making any drastic changes, as this is just part of what I expect to be normal eating even after I reach my goal. There will be some foods that may bump up my weight a bit, but if they're used in moderation and they're not totally off plan, then I just need to be sure they continue to be used "in moderation." I just have to be sure these particular foods don't lead me off the path into foods that I really should not be eating at all!! That's the important part and where I've gotten off track on previous journeys.

I feel the same way about not being overly concerned even though I have 48 lbs to go. My motto is no suffering. Having "rested" for 6 months after losing 70 lbs , and having no weight gain has made me completely confident that this is doable for the rest of my life.

Sounds like you have the right mindset going on Sandy. Great job and hang in there. I'm feeling the same as you. We know we are in it for life and in moderation is the key. Your doing a wonderful job. Enjoy the rest of your evening.:)

@Sweetie Girl....I would think maintaining a 70-pound loss for 6 months would give you TONS of confidence going forward. I've often wondered if taking a break in the middle of longer journeys would actually be better than continuing on with no break. Some people decide to take a break, like you, but do our bodies actually do better after a break? They might...I don't know, but I've wondered... Enjoy your day.

@Laurie...Hey there! Are you shoveled out yet? I know your area CAN get snow now, but it seems kinda late to me. I saw that Minot, ND was having a balmy 13-degree day today. I know that's not your area at all, but it just brought home to me that I guess winter isn't quite over in the more northern states. Hope you have a nice warm and toasty evening.

Oh Yea, all shoveled and plowed. Art fired up the dozer yesterday morning so he could get out to go to work and then fired it up again when he got home. It was an interesting day. Some of our worst snow storm happen in March here. Hope you have a wonderful evening as well.:)
