Is there a way to track water on FS?

however you can certainly add it to all meals & snacks, sort of track it yourself but still able to add to your daily intake

Just talked to my doctor today about water, and she says there has been recent research that we don't need as much water as 6-8 glasses a day. That's good, because all I was doing besides eating was peeing. And up twice in the night. So I'm going to cut it down until I don't have to wake up to pee anymore. A good night's sleep is better for me.

If even once a day you pass colourless urine, you are well hydrated. That 8 glasses a day thing was completely pulled out of thin air! Can't find it now, but I read a big research article on it a couple of years ago. So, don't stress about water intake!

I track just track with the 3 meals & snack. Type "Tap Water" in food search. Usually 2-3 by breakfast time, 2 between lunch & supper unless really hot weather, 2-3 between supper & bedtime. Check what medications you are taking, because some have an added diuretic component, so you don't want to take it in late evening. Best to take diuretic in AM. My BP med has a diuretic in it. I have to drink the 8 glasses to keep regular, because with all the vegetables, more beans and lower fat, I am in big big trouble if I don't drink the water. And with lowering calories to loose my excess weight, I am still having troubles.
