Big calorie day yesterday (2000) in a continued effort to convince my body I'm not starving. Big cardio day, too, in order to help counteract the higher calories. Big gym day today (1.5 hours) to sweat out some of the salt (I only had about 8000 mg yesterday, LOL). Sweated like crazy, so that should help.
Doing dead lifts at the gym is helping to shape my legs and rear. I started with no weight (that's still 45 pounds) on a machine called the Hammer Strength. Back in April I could do 6 and felt like I would faint. Now I'm up to two sets of 15. It's really nice to see progress like that. And here's how I know it's working:
My husband went to give me an injection in the rear end the other night (I get this every 3 months) and he just stood there for about a minute. I turned around and said, "What's taking so long?" He shook his head and said, "Sorry, but the geometry of your butt has changed and I'm trying to figure out where to give you this shot now."
What a nice thing to say. Never thought the word geometry would make me smile.
