I am not going to weigh myself today. I am writing this entry so that the website will not prompt me to weigh in all week long. I have succeeded at logging everything I have eaten this week and kept my calories at a "reasonable" level for maintenance. I had been bingeing so much over the past few months that 2100k might result in a loss but I am not counting on it. Next week I plan to slowly start creeping calories back to about 1800. I usually jump in with both feet when I feel I've crossed a line (the obese line ) with my weight. I was obese as a kid so my weight has never not been an issue I first lost the weight in my early 20's. This time around I had such a significant gain from being at home during the pandemic with 4 kids. Since intense stress for parents due to covid is far from over; I have to try to be easy on myself or I'll run the risk of masochistically undereating. I think it's best if I ease into healthy eating to ensure likelihood of success.
