I've never been a clothes person. Yesterday I posted that I bought clothes for an upcoming wedding because I didn't have anything that wasn't too big. I have to admit, it feels really good to wear something that fits nicely. The larger version of me is from last October, 115 lbs ago. From the 30,000-foot perspective, I'm still only part way to goal 2 which will eventually be followed by goal 3. I'm learning that just achieving goals isn't the point of life at all. Its about living, experiencing and savoring the journey. So, I'm taking the time to savor this victory along the way instead of just gritting my teeth and white knuckling it until I "get there". I'm grateful for this space to share the experience with a group of like-minded, sympathetic people, most of whom are on paths nearly parallel to my own. Life is good. Make it, log it, eat it.
