Well, I'm up a pound but it doesn't count because I ate a pound of watermelon after dinner last night and my prunes didn't work as expected. :(

I've been steady at an average of 1200 calories per day this whole week, so it's bound to catch up soon.

Thanks to all yesterday who helped me get over my obsession with the scale. Well, let me rephrase that. I'm still obsessed with the scale and weighing myself daily to see results, but I now know that the number just don't matter as much - they will keep going down based on the fact that historically, they always do!

MYA, I remember that slogan, LOL. Thanks for the nostalgia! I recall the TV ads. They were around when I was a little girl, even though I never smoked, either. There's one bad habit I never had to quit since I never started, thank goodness! Thanks, Babe!

You're doing good if you can stick to 1200 calories a day. I haven't done that for years.

I'd say you're doing marvelously, Mrsmole! You're a good example for me...I'm trying to restrict my calories but not doing as well as you are!!

Toddlers can definitely keep one on the run burning lots of calories! Suzy, try lots of higher fiber veggies and other plant based foods. They fill you up, add lots of nutrition, and if you keep a container of ready to eat ones in your frig they are handy for nutritious snacks for the whole family or to add to a quick meal.

my grandkids love fruit salads, they are now old enough they make their own, use plain yogurt flavored with vanilla or a little fruit juice for the dressing the fruit is already sweet enough. if it is a couple of days old I turn it into smoothies just add ice and blend yummy! blended you can freeze it to add to smoothies or make popsicles. good for mom and kids
