Well, today marks the one-month anniversary of starting to eat healthier and take care of myself. In the last month, I've seen two doctors I'd been avoiding, because I felt embarrassed that I hadn't been eating well. They were both very supportive and my PCP in particular. He's been on WW for a couple of years and understands what it is like being raised in an Italian-American family: lots of food, 24/7! lol So, I haven't cheated once - made sure that I have extra calories on weekends so I feel less pressure and have something to look forward to. I've lost about 14-15 lbs. in this first month and already feel much better.
Month Two begins today. I've got this!
