I'm having trouble getting enough potassium, any suggestions?

Carol, how did you find out? Did you get a blood test and they showed low potassium levels? It’s a very delicate balance and can be dangerous if severe. I would recommend seeing a doctor with this concern. But yes, many foods have potassium, such as bananas, sweet potatoes, and melon.

Already have a phone appointment with dr. Next week I think. Meanwhile I will add a banana and more sweet potatoes. Thanks for your advice.

Morton's makes a salt substitute that is pure crystalized potassium. Just don't cook with it.

Premier Protein shakes have 280mgs of potassium (3gms fat, Pro 30mgs, 160 cals, 4 carbs). Shelled hemp seeds have even more. For 3tbs...they have 2-300+ mgs of potassium. I'm on keto so these things are savior on my diet. ;)

i buy it. ebay has bags of powder for $15 for 16oz. morton's is super expensive. $5 for 2 ounces. seller named naturebestfoods. i make home-aid. which is just kool aid with Splenda and 1/2 tsp potassium powder and a little salt. otherwise use it in place of salt. Potatoes have the most. Even potato chips have a large amount (don't recommend it, though, unless you bake raw potato slices in your own oven). I eat a banana almost every morning for breakfast to help keep up the levels. Snack food fave: toasted edamame (10% RDA, or 530 mg).
