I'm really sorry that someone said hurtful things to you, people say things without realizing the impact that they can have on your feelings and your life, you know that. But they can only have an impact if you allow it. So allow it to hurt for a second, then forgive them and just let it go. At the end of the day, when you're laying in bed, the only person you have to answer to is yourself and you know in your heart what kind of parent you are and how much you love your son and that truly is enough. Get rid of negative people in your life, that's the best advice I can give. I'd rather stand totally alone than deal with one lousy, negative person in my life, they take up so much of your time and energy and leave you feeling like dirt, constantly. Keep your head up, open up that scale, and continue on. And smile. :) 

Aww thanks Susan, that was really sweet!! After a good cry alone and heart-to-heart conversation, I decided to take positive actions to fix several things bothering me for some time and I did open that scale later that night as well as my new pedometer so I could use both the by next day!! It turned out I lost weight which made me feel good :-). I also did lots of hours of walking together as a family this weekend!!
