I made it 7 days without binge eating. Yesterday I did eat some peanut butter and a thin shave of a lemon pound cake I made from scratch just to taste it. Today I wanted chips but instead ate pork rinds with chive and onion cream cheese on them. That really hit the spot.
I am feeling restless because I don't usually get past 7 days without binge eating. I feel like I don't trust myself - almost like you know your pattern and it's a self-fulfilling prophecy to do what you normally do. But I really think I can do it. There is no reason for me to binge eat. I don't want to.
I am on the edge of making it to my next goal - 310 which would be more wonderful than I can imagine because I haven't been there in a very long time.
I'd appreciate any words of wisdom and prayers. Thanks! Have a great day everyone!

It is so hard. I have struggled with binge eating since I was a kid. Seven days is a huge accomplishment. Keep going one day at a time. I am cheering for you.

BUT you have anew pattern now, and you LIKE how healthy you feel....trust yourself! Binge on melon and cucumber!

Thank you for all of the comments everyone. I will read them every day! I don't keep peanuts and pringles in the house b/c they call to me. Sometimes you just want that sugar fix. It really is a fix - it boosts the dopamine in your brain and feels good. You have to learn to get that good feeling somewhere else! On day 9 today. I have physical therapy so that will be a good way to burn some calories! I hope everyone is hanging in there today. Don't give up!

Breathe- you got this! You took the hardest step and that is starting. Take one day at a time. Remember to be patient and gentle with yourself. Stay hydrated water is key to weight loss. Remember won’t happen over night it takes time & patience. My weight loss journey started November 2015 and I was 357 pounds. I’ve lost 171 pounds so far,tweaking what works for me along the way.
