I decided to try a little cardio. I know myself well enough to know that I need to start with very low expectations and work myself up to more. I chose a 10 minute beginner cardio routine and have been doing it for a week. I like it, it’s easy but gets me moving and the time requirement is totally doable. I plan to increase the time to 15 minutes after a month and add 1 lb dumbbells.
I have also been doing a ton of gardening. Today hubby and I were out tearing up old overgrown beds and planting perennials that we have been getting from friends. We worked hard for 6 hours and I am tired so I know it was a good workout. Tomorrow I think just the 10 min cardio and an easy walk.
