It’s been so hard to stick to my diet because at night time I get my hungriest and want to eat junk food😭😭😭 I tell myself everyday I’m not going to do it again and here I am again eating junk after doing so good all day. It’s so hard to lose weight🙏🙏🙏God help me get stronger and lose this weight so I can be around for my kids and grand-babys

can yo go to sleep early? I try to save some of my dinner for later so I am filling my calorie quota at night with a snack I know I will eat.

I have the same problem, what I've learned that helped me is saving a bulk of my calories for later in the day. Also, eating dinner later than I normally would helps control the night time eating.

Thank ya. I never thought about that but that’s a great idea. I can save some of my meal with my calorie already counted for later at night like now when I want something. Thanks for sharing. I’m doing so good during the day.

There is nothing wrong with eating meals or snacks later in the evening. You just have to plan that it will happen and make it part of your eating schedule.

Ok..I'm strictly speaking from my experience..I too was a late night snacker..I would be so good all day n right after dinner I was craving sweets/carbs..My nutritionist kept telling me if I substituted a protein snack, instead of a high carb, high fat snack, I wouldn't be hungry. I did that and it worked! Then she taught me to eat more protein throughout the day and cravings stopped. It really does work!

I portion out 2oz cocktail peanuts in a sealable container, I get the salt, the crunch and the protein and low on carbs.

I am still the exact same! I started making myself a bedtime routine including sleepy time tea, the liquid helps fill up your belly but I also save some of my daily calories for something sweet as a little treat for myself especially if I was good all day. I like the Trader Joe’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups or peanut butter filled pretzels covered in chocolate! Sometimes, if I’ve done a late workout I’ll do an instant oatmeal (good for portioning, for me) with half a banana, a spoonful of peanut butter, maybe a spoonful of Nutella, and some kind of seeds like flax, hemp, or chia, very filling not a ton of calories, banana and peanut butter good for after a warm out cause of potassium and protein, satiates a sweet tooth, and not a lot of people know this but oats help you fall asleep! They’re rich in melatonin!! And if you’re sleeping you’re not eating haha good luck! You’re doing great!!!

I could never conquer that kind of hunger until I went low carb and stopped eating grains altogether.
