It was a great weekend. Lots of sun and warmer temperatures. Time for planting on the farm. Both Friday night and all day Saturday were spent at my parents' farm. Tractors have to be hooked up to equipment and hydralics figured out. My little guy loved it, hanging out with the tractors. Finally on Saturday afternoon, my dad and little guy went out to the field and started discing. I got to cut the lawn at the farm and do the chores.
On Sunday, me and the little guy went to Walmart and bought Lightening McQueen shoes and sunglasses. Then we had fun cutting our lawn and raking up the lawn clippings. He also had lots of fun on his playset and swings. My son has a John Deere pedal tractor with wagon. He decided he had to fix the wagon. He got a screwdriver out and proceeded to take out the screws and dismantle the wagon. I was so surprised that a 3 year old could do that!! We had to put it back together again but he had to tighten the screws! It was funny!
I did not too bad on the eating and keeping the calories undercontrol which is unusual for me on weekends. Please lots of walking, housecleaning and yard work keep me moving too.
Went for a run at lunch today. We managed to do the big block in under 26 minutes which is good for us. It's 2.2 miles around. The weather is great. Nice and sunny. We are going for a pedicure after work today too. Should be fun.
