Every once in a while, my future-mother-in-law, will call and for some reason, decides to challenge me to a weight loss competition. Except, even if I only half heartedly do it, I always lose more than she does because she only stays on any diet for 2 days. I Do Not Know Why She Bothers. Anyway, she called today and challenged me to another competition. The conversation after that went like this, Me: You know I've lost 30lbs. already, right? Her: oh. You have? Me: But I'll go with total weight lost from the beginning of the challenge if you want. Her: Let's do that! Starting tomorrow! Me: Okay. You want to put money on it to keep you on track? I'll go a dollar a pound for each pound we both lose, to go the winner. That sounds good, right? Her: I am going to win the money! You better start putting it aside!
3 hours later she called and said she didn't want to do it anymore. It seemed too hard. Yes, winning really is that easy with her sometimes.
