I have been doing WW for what seems like forever. It does work for me if I follow the plan to the letter. However, I find that I am always thinking of my next meal, seems like I am never quite satisfied and weight loss is too slow. I also realize that carbohydrates are my biggest downfall. Love pasta, bread, fruit, and beans. So while I was allowed those on WW I found that they slowed my loss big time. I decided to give Keto a 30-day trial after reading and researching all the benefits, testimonials and studies on it. My Physician even said to try it! If he advocates LCHF/Keto even though the Medical Society as a whole considers it a fad or hoax I think it is definitely worth giving a try. I feel after 30 days, if I follow it correctly, I will know if it will work for me. I will monitor my blood sugar/ketones and more importantly observed how I feel on this way of eating. From everything I have read, it is an anti-inflammatory diet that will help reduce the inflammation in my joints, give me mental clarity and energy all while losing weight. At this point, I feel I don't have anything to lose by trying and 30 days is doable. So 9/9/19 will mark the beginning of this journey!
