Had a sore throat this last week (mostly with running and when first waking up in AM). Sunday AM I woke up and it was not pleasant; felt like it was closed and I had 2 golf balls in my throat. I took some stuff and made it through the morning, ran after church then did some house work until 330 where I crashed! Monday I went to the DR who let me know I have Strep. He put me on Amox and hope it clears up quickly. Leave for Camping/Vacation Thursday and the 5K is Saturday. My pace is 12:30 per mile, I hope that when the adrenaline is flowing I'll perform better! Not doing too bad for only 2 weeks of training... Tonight's photo of me at mile 2 sending a snapchat video. tried to screen shot a smile but you get exhale lol.
