I’ve been using fat secret to log my calorie but I wasn’t on a specific diet. I was just trying to eat better and manage smaller portions. I’ve lost 8 pounds in two weeks. I saw my primary dr to discuss what kind of diet I should go on. My Primary and Ortho Drs are both on Keto but they felt that was too difficult to start with and have put me on the Atkins diet.

You don’t need a specific diet, all you need is calorie deficit. Just focus on eating foods you like for adherence to the new lifelong diet

Excellent advice already given!!! All I can add is to use this app to track your every bite, weigh your food and ask questions. We are all here to help. I've been doing this for 1 year now and still ask questions quite often! Good luck, you got this!
