Yesterday I got lots of steps in while wandering through the big Walmart near my house. I use the Google Fit app. I love that it not only tracks steps, but also Move Minutes and Heart Points. Those 2 things it tracks based on how many steps per minute you are taking, which would affect your heart rate. That's how it tracks cardio. I can also do specific workouts to be tracked. I usually reach my heart point goal during the week because I jog when walking the dogs at 6 am. Weekends, not so much. Yesterday I got lunch plus enough left over for dinner from Taco Cabana. Even though I got chicken entrees, I was surprised at how many calories their food has vs making it at home.
