Happy Thursday everyone - Another amazing day well underway. I was away for work for a few weeks. I stayed doing what I do...even adjusted for the hotel living situation. Found a local coffee shop that made an amazing Americano. My lessons learned for the last two weeks - well frankly there were a lot. I got a handle on my new lower dose of insulin and how I respond to that. I found that when I got food poisoned it really messed up my BG levels...and made it interesting to take meds and eat...whoo hoo. I am really liking the not being hungry and not "having to eat" thing. I had a lot of road time which became a little self reflective. Just everything that has happened over the last 439 days and where I am now. Really felt blessed. This is a pretty fantastic adventure that I get to have - I don't feel like it is worth it to waste any time on useless drama or negativity. I will leave you all with a picture of the mountains by my house that I drive past in the morning going to work. and the other was from the drive home from Sacramento over Hwy 80. Enjoy the journey - do random acts of kindness - you never know who you might help.
