I had a Dr. checkup this afternoon. He's been my doctor since I was a kid, so he's seen me through a lot of stuff. When I had my annual in January, I weighed in at 216 and he told me I needed to start thinking about my diet and he was concerned about the weight gain (keep in mind I've been somewhere between 130-150 most of my adult life).

When I weighed in today, the number read 199 (fully clothed and after lunch). He gave me a big high five and was super excited for me. it feels so, so good to have acknowledgement for the hard work. I have another follow up with him in June and I'm hoping to be another 20+ pounds lighter by then and get an even bigger high five 😊🙌🏼
