having a hard few days....loosing motivation! any advise??

Think about why you started. Think about where you will end up if you quit. Mini-goals help a lot of people because they are in sight immediately. We ALL lose motivation sometimes. The key is to not go off the deep end when it drops. A certain amount of determination is needed every day, and planning in advance helps a lot with that. Keep a variety of good stuff around, keep crap away. If you feel suffocated, reevaluate your plan and change it if necessary to something you WILL follow, don't quit. I eat pretty similar things M-Th and Friday breakfast and lunch, then eat on plan but different foods on the weekend. This would stifle some people but works for me. Planning meals in advance helps; Planning & Preparing meals in advance helps tremendously. Instead of having to put forth effort deciding, acquiring, preparing every single meal, it's already done so it's easier to stay on plan than get off plan. My motivation: I don't like taking medication. EVERYTHING has side effects. Unfortunately, none of the side effects are positive.
