I have now gained back almost every pound that I lost earlier this year and I am so damn mad at myself. I actually feel sick. Today I started back on track except I have got to get rid of all the Christmas treats all around me. I did drink nothing but water and a cup of tea so that’s a good start. Tomorrow I start tracking my food again and take a walk. Starting on Wednesday If will be at the gym. I plan to start a habit of dropping the kids off at school then heading to the gym.

Sounds like you have a good plan once the kids are back at school. The holidays have been wild for staying on track for me too. I am a bit scared to weigh myself but figure I need to face the number on the scale soon and then just get back into some better habits. Hang in there - and one good choice at a time we can do this.

It is so easy to slide. I gained back around 15 pounds in the past month and a half. I even stopped reporting it on here for a while as I wanted to hide it. This is a hard time of the year as there are snacks everywhere, and happy people consuming them all around. Keep fighting the good fight, and the small victories will add up.
