Well journal...I have been avoiding you! The truth is, I have not been doing so well (eating wise) over this crazy, busy summer. Busy should not be a good excuse though. Really.
So.....with Fall nipping at my heels, so is the desire to get back on track with my eating, logging, weigh-ins and exercise. I know in my mind that this is not a season of life but rather a lifestyle; but I have been stubborn about resolving myself to a long term change in thinking. The reality is - I DO feel much better when I am not eating so many carbs. Just a fact - weight or not!
Therefore, I resolve to NOT gain back all the weight that I so diligently lost; I resolve to pick-up and keep moving ahead; to dust off my favorite low-carb recipes and start cooking; I resolve to take another step toward the mind-change necessary to make these changes life-long rather than seasonal.
In my favor - the longer a person acts on a life-change, the better chance that life-change will actually be just that.
