I am documenting this milestone here for reference.
I had some lab work performed this morning before weighing in. The results arrived a little bit ago.
I have been pre-diabetic for years, blessedly avoiding medicine for the disease which most of the family in my mother's generation suffer from.
Since 2013, my records only go that far with Kaiser, my A1C number is finally below 6.0 at 5.9!
My average glucose matches with the lowest it has ever been too.

Estimated Avg Glucose 85 - 126 mg/dL

Affirmation that what I am doing now is working better than anything else in the recent past.

Which island are you from? Where do you live now?
My son and I lived in Kailua-Kona (Kona Side) and in Pepeekeo (Hilo Side) on the Big Island from 1999 to 2010. In 2010, I moved to Oahu and lived in Manoa Valley, then Kapolei until 2 years ago. Lived in California, Florida, Maryland, now Nevada the 8th Island. Lol.

Aloha @cannjensen! I was born in Kalihi, Oahu. Lived in Hilo from 1999 to 2008, so we probably saw each other at Costco in Kona or KTA/Walmart in Hilo. LOL. Ho, you move around yeah? Howz the 8th island. Have not been since we held our family reunion there in 2014. K, you have a blessed week too!
