@Gouldilocks - I like your approach. Still very flexible. We’re also the same age! I have tried to drop my carbs and raise my protein/healthy fats overall, but I don’t focus too much on perfect macros daily. I like the flexibility of CICO because although I focus on healthy choices, I can still indulge in a favorite now and again :)

I track macros for a day every so often to see if I’m in track. But in general I don’t. I’m quite comfortable with what I eat now and just follow the rule of eating protein first then veg and cooking fresh. Good luck x
