Yesterday was first time I willingly went off diet. A freebie day, I suppose. Was supposed to go to the lake with fam, but the lovely Tropical Wave killed that off, so just hung at MHM house and some fam came over.

Ate some excellent bleu? cheese/yellow cheese on crackers, and other snacks, a slider on drive home and 2 smallish chicken/fruit salad sammies at night. Wrestled some w/ RM3, neck tussled up so hard to sleep and had to drug up. Hard on tummy and had addtl snacks late at night.

Still, only went about 100 cals over for the day. First time I used the cal counter app on iPhone and LOVED it. Easy and fast to put in during the day. It helped me to limit what/how much I ate, so I guess i didn't have true 'holiday', lol. But I sure felt better, physically that is, by not eating the amount I usually would have eaten. yea for me!! and yea for the calorie app!!!

Am interested in seeing my weight this week, and if there's correlation with going 'off diet' for a a couple days. I include the pizza night as 'off diet' as well. I'm very comfortable with off diet days, I think I can use them as motivation.., i.e., work hard during the week, to take a day or night off on weekend. Not a prob, bob!

Had discussion w/ MHM and her 'diet'. She claims to be on for a few weeks and has not lost any weight. Discussed tracking and she is not interested, rather talking metabolic changing foods, blah , blah , blah. Didn't engage her in that as its useless. Did tout my weight loss and goal,and offered friendly bet. Hope that as she sees my success, it will help stimulate her.
