Progress is a great motivator...(getting dumped may have helped a bit too haha). Major thanks to fatsecret and all the positive criticism and advice from this community. I'm going to continue to ride this newbie-gain train to 162-165, hopefully avoiding major plateaus or taking in too much fat and then start to cut and maintain.

Thank you everyone for the comments. I didn't know what I was doing in early June and you guys helped me with a lot. Its so rare to find a great supportive online community without any trolls. I finally feel like I'm on the right track. But I also know that the hardest part of this process is long term maintenance. To me, that is the true test of will power and I can't wait to face it head on.

Nice gains man! I think you should at least do a surplus for minimum of 6 months, then introduce a mini-cut in between if you're gaining weight too fast.

I see it now too haha. The before picture looks like a giant sad face on my body with sad nipple eyes. The after looks like an angry face haha. Thanks derrick. I will probably have to do that. My weight is going up way too fast i think.
